Ruzyn Airport, Flight LH 3265, 29th March 2007, 19 hrs 25min. The Tissot T-Touch watch hands start counting up the first minutes of the Tissot Everest 2007 Expedition.
Pockets of red High Point jackets are stuffed with the vitamins of the pharmaceutical giant Zentiva to maintain strength for the rigours ahead, the digital IXUS Canon camera whirrs into action and just an empty crate of Bernard beer (the official (and extremely palatable!) drink of the expedition) is left forlornly at the airport….!
